Lugovoi core: Description, Collection, Application and Side Effects
Cardaminis, whose scientific name is Cardaminis pratensis, is a perennial plant of the Brassicaceae family. This plant has many popular names, such as cuckoo blossom, meadow lettuce and wild lettuce. The above-ground part of the plant is used in fresh and dry form. The pharmaceutical name of the meadow heart grass is Cardaminis pratensis herba (formerly: Herba Cardaminis pratensis).
The botanical description of the meadow heart suggests that it is a plant that can often be seen in meadows in the spring. It has an erect stem 20-30 cm high, usually with a brownish tint, hollow, round, juicy, and pubescent. The aerial part consists of long-petiolate basal leaves of an unpaired-pinnate shape with leaflets with long petioles, ovate or rounded. The stem leaves are pinnately dissected and there are few of them. There are 8-20 flowers, they are collected in an apical raceme. The flowers are light lilac, less often white or purple. Distinct dark veins on the petals are striking. Sometimes a spit-like foam is visible on the stems. The larvae of penny cicadas live in it. Flowering occurs from April to May (June). The plant is found in damp meadows, sometimes in gardens.
Meadow heart is used as an herb for non-specific stimulant therapy. This plant contains glycosides of mustard oil, bitterness and vitamin C. Scientific medicine does not object to the use of the kernel as a blood purifier, since it has been found that glycosides of mustard oil have a beneficial stimulating effect on the liver and kidneys. In addition, meadow heart is used in folk medicine as a cure for ailments of a rheumatic nature and pain accompanied by cramps.
Regardless of what form you want to use the plant in, it should be harvested at the beginning of flowering. Bunches of grass are dried in the shade. Meadow hearts can be prepared according to old or new recipes, for example, as watercress or used to prepare spring herbal salads. Pour Vg l of milk into a mixer, chop one apple with the skin (without the core), squeeze out the juice of one lemon and three oranges, and also add a teaspoon of honey and several bunches of fresh meadow core. Mix everything in a mixer until smooth.
However, it is necessary to take into account that meadow kernels have side effects. In large doses, the core can cause irritation of the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines. Also, some people may experience allergic reactions to the plant. Therefore, before using meadow core as a medicine, you should consult your doctor.
Overall, the heart is a useful plant that can be used as a medicine and food. However, it is important to consider the dosage and possible side effects when using it.
