How to keep your back healthy?

Age-related changes in cartilage, unfortunately, lead to back pain for each of us. And there's nothing you can do about it. But we can correct the age at which back pain occurs. How to behave to avoid premature wear of cartilage?

To begin with, try to provide yourself with regular physical activity and exercise. Moreover, we are talking specifically about walks in the fresh air, fitness and massage. Carrying heavy objects and running to/from work do not count!

By the way, if you have to lift something heavy, do it correctly - keep your back straight, try not to bend over, but to squat. In general, always remember about correct posture. With a hunched back, the pressure on the third lumbar vertebra (one of the most problematic places in our body) is 275 kilograms. For comparison: with a straight back, the load is only 150 kilograms.

Decisive factors are also the absence of bad habits (smoking has the most negative effect on cartilage) and normal weight. Obesity significantly accelerates the wear and tear of our musculoskeletal system.
