Stomach Track

The gastric tract is a channel in the stomach that connects the stomach to other organs and systems of the body. This channel plays an important role in the digestion process as it allows food to pass through the stomach and into the intestines. However, in addition to this main function, the gastric tract also performs a number of other tasks.

One of the main tasks of the gastric track is to control the level of acid in the stomach. It is a groove in the lining of the stomach that allows the liquid portion of food to remain on the surface of the stomach, avoiding contact with the acidic environment. Thanks to this process, the food does not liquefy and remains in place longer, which allows gastric juices to penetrate better.
