A no-carbohydrate diet is a diet that involves limiting carbohydrate intake and increasing protein and fat intake. It was developed as a diet option for weight loss and weight control, and is similar to the Kremlin and Atkins diets.

The main principle of a no-carb diet is to control the amount of carbohydrates you consume. The main rule of the diet is that the allowed amount of carbohydrates per day should not exceed 250 calories.

During a low-carbohydrate diet, it is recommended to eat more proteins and fats, as well as vegetables, root vegetables, citrus fruits and berries. On the contrary, the consumption of bread, flour products, sugar, cereals, fruits (except citrus fruits), dairy products, carrots, potatoes, corn and fats should be strictly limited, and alcohol and sugary drinks should be avoided.

In addition, there are several rules that should be followed when dieting without carbohydrates:

  1. It is forbidden to drink half an hour after eating;
  2. When frying, you can only use olive oil;
  3. you need to eat in small portions - at least 5 times a day;
  4. Meals for "today" must be completed by 20:00.
