At the height of the mushroom season, it is very easy to get poisoned. To prevent this from happening, you should know some rules for handling mushrooms. If, nevertheless, you are “lucky enough” to eat something wrong, take action immediately.
In case of mushroom poisoning, you should first rinse your stomach and drink activated charcoal. In most cases, they are poisoned by false honey mushrooms, poisonous russula and toadstool. The first symptoms of such poisoning: vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain. In such cases, you should immediately perform gastric lavage. To do this, the specialist advises, you need to drink up to 1.5 liters of plain water and induce vomiting. Then you need to take activated carbon. But not 2-3 tablets, as we are used to, but at the rate of 1 g per 1 kg of body weight, that is, on average 40-60 grams of coal.
Next, you need to seek medical help as soon as possible. If you wait, the results can be disastrous. In case of poisoning with toadstool, for example, the number of deaths reaches 60% or more.
Also remember that traditional methods of diagnosing mushrooms are untenable. If a poisonous mushroom gets into the pan, then cook it as much as you like - poisoning cannot be avoided.
Be careful when you go into the forest to pick mushrooms. If you are not sure that the mushroom is edible, it is better not to take it. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
