Sauna is an excellent remedy for sore throat

Krepatura, a synonym for the word “stagnation” or the phrase “dead point”, is that very unpleasant thing that every bodybuilder sooner or later becomes familiar with. This term is also often used in conjunction with the term “overtraining.” You just have to go a little overboard in the heat of excitement and adrenaline, and you will feel all these delights first hand. And then you have to spend a lot of time on quality rest and full recovery. Sometimes this takes not only days, but whole weeks. However, there are a couple of good recipes to speed up the recovery process. And in this article we will talk about one such recipe...

As you already understood from the title, we will talk about saunas and baths. And what? After all, it has long been known that the sauna is an excellent remedy for sore throat and overtraining. By accelerating the metabolic processes in our body, accelerating the blood, increasing the number of capillaries, we actually speed up the process of recovery of our body after heavy physical exertion.

Even in the old days, Russian heroes relieved muscle tension in this way. This technique was also used by the ancient Greeks, as well as the Romans and Egyptians...

Personally, I love a good steam after a good workout in the gym. But it wasn’t always like this... At the beginning of my bodybuilding career, I, of course, heard about the miraculous benefits of the bath, but somehow I didn’t take them seriously... Therefore, for the first couple of years of my bodybuilding career, I didn’t visit these establishments at all... My gym friends prefer saunas in the southwestern one, they once suggested that I pick up a broom and join their company. Having visited the sauna just once, I felt what a great tool it is for complete recovery! Previously, I had to lose two to three days for muscle recovery, and only on the last day did I feel fresh and ready to go to the gym. Now, when I visit a steam room, already on the second day, and sometimes even on the first, I feel a powerful surge of strength and energy - that’s what a good steam does to a person. Well, if you find yourself in a phase of overtraining or sore throat, then, as they say, God himself ordered it! Try it, this is a really great remedy for relieving fatigue, I highly recommend it!
