Acrobatics

Acrobatics is a type of gymnastic exercise and an independent sport. Acrobatics classes develop coordination of movements, flexibility, strength, develop the ability to control your body, courage and determination.

Acrobatic exercises contribute to the formation of correct posture, improvement of the functions of the vestibular apparatus (balance, orientation in space in any position of the body), adaptation of the body to the redistribution of blood under the influence of inertial (centrifugal) forces. All this makes it possible to use acrobatics for the purpose of special physical training of astronauts, parachutists, to use elements of acrobatics in the system of physical education of children at school and as an aid in training gymnasts, divers, football players, hockey players and other athletes.

Children can begin initial training in acrobatics with the permission of a doctor at 8-9 years old, and participate in competitions from 10-12 years old. Regular medical supervision is required during training and competitions in acrobatics.

Compliance with the rules of belay and self-insurance is important; when performing complex exercises, it is necessary to use special safety belts (lounges).
