7 tips on how to limit yourself in eating sweets

Every girl has a love for chocolate and various sweets, but long-term “relationships” with desserts do not always end with a happy ending: the figure, skin and health in general deteriorate. And if you are one of those who have to adhere to strict restrictions on the consumption of sweets, use a couple of tricks that will help you in this difficult matter.

  1. Keep cookies and cupcakes out of your sight. From now on, sweets should not be in the center of the table in the kitchen or in the living room, or even the bedroom, but in the top cabinet of the kitchen furniture, in the far corner, filled with jars and boxes. The method may seem funny, but it is very effective. The eyes do not see the temptation, and in order to get it, you need to work a little. This way you have limited your access to sweets and will think less about it.

  2. When walking around the supermarket, take the tenth route around the confectionery department. If you know that there are a couple more candies in your stash, finish them and then buy new ones.

  3. A true sweet tooth is ready to give up lunch for dessert with a flavorful drink. You can come up with an excuse for this: some people satisfy their hunger with sausage sandwiches, others with a bun with jam. But the first ones are full for the next 3-4 hours, the second ones want to eat again within an hour. Eat serious food: meat, light side dishes and lots of vegetables. This way you will eat one less bun for lunch, or maybe two...

  4. How can you not treat yourself to a slice of chocolate or a piece of cake with a cup of coffee after your lunch break? If you want to finish off your lunch with dessert, wait for 15-20 minutes. The feeling of fullness does not occur immediately, so it seems to you that there is still room in your stomach for sweets. Let the food digest, after which you can consume the desired “supplement” in much smaller quantities.

  5. You have been limiting yourself for a long time and believe that you rightfully deserve a huge piece of delicious cake. Your efforts should be rewarded, but in moderation. Eat in small portions, and gradually your body will be completely satisfied with one small piece of cake instead of the usual two.

  6. Watch the drinks you drink. A cup of tea or coffee can be much higher in calories than a cream cake. Add less sugar than usual to hot drinks, especially when enjoying dessert. At first, the tea will seem completely unsweetened, but later you will get used to its taste. Regular white sugar can also be replaced with honey or brown sugar.

  7. "Share with your neighbor." When you start eating sweets, divide the portion among your colleagues, acquaintances, and loved ones - they will be pleased and you will benefit yourself.
