Vader Principles

This article will help us understand in detail: who are Vader brothers and what is their contribution in the development of world bodybuilding...

As we already know from history, modern bodybuilding must its origins and development weightlifting. For a very long time, it was its postulates, techniques and technical principles that were fundamental for the pioneering bodybuilders of those ancient times. It was then that basis and theoretical foundationt of modern bodybuilding.

The current idol and founder of modern bodybuilding, Joe Weider, also started out in his youth as weightlifter. But, unlike a million of the same newcomers, he did not blindly adhere to the methods known at that time, but began to experiment in every possible way...

As a result of his research and long-term observations, Vader came across strange pattern:  “Pumping up a specific muscle with super-heavy weights only with the help one exercises, its volume and strength increase much slowerthan during her own training smaller weights, but not one, but at once several consistently performed exercises."

“It turns out that muscle growth does not depend at all on the weight of the projectile?” — Joe asked rhetorically. In an attempt to unravel this paradox, he made, without realizing it, an amazing discovery, which subsequently changed the entire “iron world” and the attitude towards training.

The whole meaning of this amazing discovery can be summarized in one simple phrase. Any athlete is obliged to memorize and know it by heart, like “Our Father”:

What stimulates muscles to grow is not weight, but pain and stress!

Let's analyze this most important axiom of bodybuildingto better understand its revolutionary meaning:

Based on Weider's research, it turns out that serious weights do indeed lead to an increase in muscle mass, but only after years of painstaking, grueling training. However, we are capable make progress in increasing muscle volume much faster! And not in years at all, but in months, if we take on board not large weights, but average and instead of 2-3 repetitions, let's do 8-12! Physical stress received from intensive training, and not weight, is the secret discovered by Vader, with the help of which humanity was subsequently able to reveal the physiological potential of the human body, amazing in beauty and strength. A secret, the true power of which until now was not known, judging by ancient frescoes, sculptures and other creations, even by ancient Greek and Roman athletes.

Having delved into the study of the issue, Joe Weider, together with his brother, created basic methodological schemes increasing the intensity of training in bodybuilding, called in sports parlance as: "Weider's Athletic Principles". And subsequently, all the many years of teaching and research they accumulated formed "Brtiev Vader training system".

The use of almost scientific terminology here: “system“, is completely justified, since all the methods they describe are based on the effect of increasing training stress, and have a common content structure. In addition, they are not equivalent in their complexity, and form a certain hierarchy.

Thanks to their enormous contribution to the development of bodybuilding, the Vader Brothers at the dawn of their lives became incredibly famous and rich. With all their life's work, they forever wrote their names in golden letters in the history of world bodybuilding.
