A comprehensive device for developing strength.

The device is designed to develop the strength of athletes in various sports, regardless of qualifications and age.

The equipment consists (Fig. 1, a) of two working platforms on which exercises are performed while sitting or lying down. A frame is rigidly welded to the metal base 1, consisting of supports - “pads” 3, a clamp for the legs and handles for holding 2, as well as ears 4.

Exercises are divided into three groups depending on the possible three starting positions:

  1. a) lying on the platform, legs secured,
  2. b) lying face down on the platform, legs secured;
  3. c) lying with your chest on the platform on the opposite side of the clamps, legs free for movement.

The exercises are aimed at developing the muscles of the back, abdomen, and legs (Fig. 1, b...e).

High jump device.

The device provides the ability to perform various jumps. All exercises are aimed at improving high jump technique in various ways. In addition, exercises contribute to the development of the athlete’s speed and strength qualities.

Equipment for high jumps (Fig. 2, a) is a bench, on the edge of which pole 2 is inserted. The surface of the bench is soft. It is covered with sheet foam rubber. The height of the bench and pole may vary. At the same time, raising the bench to the pole creates an increased place of support. The bench and pole extend to a height of 140 to 240 cm. To make the pole, you can use fiberglass or gymnastics bars. Basic exercises are shown in Fig. 2, b...d.

The use of the device makes it possible to increase the density of training sessions for pole vaulters several times (about 2...3 times).

A stand for high jumps with a bar (Fig. 3) consists of metal clamps 1, a metal rod 2, a clamp (screw with a figured head) 3, a rubber cord 4, a rubber shock absorber 5, a horizontal bar 6, a vertical stand 7.

On one of the vertical posts shown, using clamps with a lock and a piece of rubber cord, fix a horizontal bar, which will be constantly held in a strictly horizontal position by a special rubber shock absorber. If the attempt is unsuccessful, this horizontal bar deviates slightly, and then, under the influence of the shock absorber, returns to its original position. Due to the movement of the above clamps, paired with a metal rod, the horizontal bar is installed at any desired height.
