Healthy foods that can make you fat

Chips, sweet desserts, flour, fried... You know well that you need to give up these foods, because they are harmful to our health and provide unnecessary calories to our body. But here's the catch: Some foods that have a reputation for being healthy are actually more of a threat to your weight than even on-the-go snacks or McDonald's snacks.

Half-fat drinking cream
You put such a small portion of them in your coffee, and it seems like a harmless way to get calcium and a little pleasure without harming your figure. But a few full spoons of this creamer per cup of coffee two or three times a day quickly turns into 200 or more calories plus the same amount of fat as 20 grams of butter!

Pita
No matter what you put in it, the average pita is a big offender on your path to a perfect figure. If you unroll it, it can be 30 cm wide and contain up to 300 (!) calories.

Bottled teas
Most of these bottled teas, regardless of the brand, contain large amounts of sugar, which is known to be a terrible caloric sweetener. One such bottle can contain almost as many calories as a bottle of soda.

Rice crackers
They certainly have their benefits: these snacks are fat-free and low in calories. But on the other hand, they are completely lacking in protein, the ingredient that experts say truly satisfies hunger.

Vegetable sandwiches
Of course, eliminating beef from your burger can reduce your fat and cholesterol intake slightly. But depending on what you add to it, you could easily end up with over 1,000 calories.

Packaged juice
Getting your recommended daily dose of vitamins is, of course, a good thing. But don't you think you can do it with juice? After all, its consumption may be the reason why you won’t be able to fit into your last year’s jeans.

Dietary semi-finished products
Lenten, ready-to-eat foods may contain sodium glutamate in large quantities. Since manufacturers can't rely on calorie-laden fat to make food taste good, they turn to a flavor enhancer.

Salads
There's nothing better for you or your waistline than vegetables in their purest form. But shredded cheese, candied nuts, croutons and dressing often make salads as high in calories as a giant bowl of pasta.

Tofu
Order this "health food" at a restaurant, and what you'll likely get is a plate full of sodium, calories, saturated fat and even sugar. Tofu itself is beyond question. But the problem is that the white stuff is so bland that it's often served dipped in luxurious sauces and then deep-fried to add flavor and texture, making it a total dietary disaster.
