Indications:

  1. tuberculosis of the lungs, bones, lymph nodes, joints with a mild exacerbation or its attenuation, with low body weight;
  2. exhaustion after infectious diseases, surgery, injuries. In all cases - in the absence of damage to the digestive organs. Options for diet No. 11 have been developed taking into account the localization and nature of the tuberculosis process, the state of the digestive organs, and the presence of complications.

Purpose of diet No. 11:
improve the body’s nutritional status, increase its defenses, and enhance recovery processes in the affected organ.

General characteristics of diet No. 11:
a high-calorie diet with a predominant increase in the content of proteins, especially dairy, vitamins, minerals (calcium, iron, etc.), a moderate increase in the amounts of fats and carbohydrates. Cooking and food temperature are normal.

Chemical composition and calorie content of dietary table No. 11:

  1. carbohydrates - 400-450 g,
  2. proteins - 110-130 g (60% animals),
  3. fats -100-120 g (20-25% vegetable),
  4. calories - 3000-3400 kcal,
  5. sodium chloride - 15 g,
  6. free liquid - 1.5 l.

Diet No. 11:
5 times a day.

  1. Soups - any
  2. Bread - wheat and rye, flour products
  3. Meat, poultry, fish - different types, except very fatty ones
  4. Dairy products - in full range
  5. Eggs - in different preparations
  6. Fats - butter, vegetable oils, ghee for cooking
  7. Cereals - various, especially buckwheat, oatmeal, pasta
  8. Vegetables, fruits, berries - in any processing, some raw
  9. Snacks - various, especially salads
  10. Sauces - meat, milk, sour cream, etc.
  11. Spices - in moderation
  12. Sweets - various sweet dishes, honey, jam, etc.
  13. Drinks - any, definitely juices, decoctions

Exclude: very fatty meat and poultry, lamb, beef fat; spicy and fatty sauces, sweet pastries with cream.

Sample menu:
1st breakfast: salad with cabbage and apples with sour cream, omelette, oatmeal with milk, tea with milk.
2nd breakfast: cheese, tea.
Lunch: borscht in meat broth with sour cream, fried chicken with rice, compote.
Afternoon snack: rosehip decoction.
Dinner: meat zrazy with onion and egg, carrot puree, buckwheat casserole with cottage cheese, tea.
At night: kefir.
