Cholesterolemia

Cholesterol is the deposition of excess cholesterol in tissues. After eating a meal that contains many healthy fatty acids and slightly less cholesterol, lipids are stored in the form of micelles. If vitamin reserves are clearly not enough, then the micelles merge with each other and form (satellites) around the defective cell membrane. They lead to metabolic disorders and more active formation of cholesterol from acetyl-CoA. This way the body reduces the risk of deficiency of vital vitamins.
