Cabbage goiter

Cabbage goiter (Latin Struma brassicalis, from Latin struma - goiter and Latin brassica - cabbage) is a species of starfish, one of ten species of the genus Stelletta.

Starfish of this species have a diameter from 20 to 50 cm. They have 5 radial symmetries. The cabbage craw is one of the most common species of starfish in the Mediterranean Sea.

Cabbage goiter is found in warm and temperate waters around the world, but is most common in the Atlantic Ocean. It is found at depths of 10 to 400 m, where it usually lives in kelp beds.

This species of starfish is a predator, feeding on small crustaceans and other sea animals. Cabbage crops are often found in groups, which allows them to hunt large prey.

Although cabbage crops are edible and used in cooking, they are not widely found in the human diet. Their meat contains little protein and fat, and also has an unpleasant smell and taste.
