Strong and developed forearm muscles have been of great importance for men since ancient times. And although now we do not need to hold swords and spears in our hands, we still pay serious attention to training the muscles of this part of the body.
This primarily applies to those of us who are actively involved in sports.
And this means not only weightlifters - arm wrestlers, but also golfers, tennis players, rock climbers and fans of extreme sports, people who engage in any kind of martial arts - for these and many other sports disciplines, developed forearms are simply necessary for more effective training and performances.
In order to have powerful arm muscles (in particular, hands and fingers), there are now a lot of special devices, simulators and training methods. And first of all, many of us remember the expander. In particular, the option that appeared on the shelves decades ago - the usual rubber circle - is still relevant today. It is valued and chosen because of its availability, practicality and ease of use. However, it also has disadvantages - for example, you cannot regulate its load. To solve this and some other problems, other types of hand expanders were invented and created: spring, forceps, balls and others. You can find them in almost any sporting goods store, and many athletes buy them for training in their free time - for example, you can watch TV or read a book, while developing target muscle groups, or, for example, train while sitting at work . If we classify such sports equipment by type of load, then we can distinguish two main types - compression of the spring (or rubber) and its extension. What is this apparatus for bending and rotating the wrist?Let's take a closer look at one of the recently appeared options, designed for bending and rotating the hand. Athletes who use only compressible expanders to train their forearm are seriously mistaken, since flexion allows you to develop the wrist joint much more effectively and increase the efficiency of its work. So if you want to have really strong hands, don’t limit yourself to one version of the good old rubber wrist ring or its spring analogue.
In the mini-simulator under consideration, all movements are performed along a clearly limited trajectory, which is also an undeniable advantage of this projectile. Structurally, this device initially looked like this: two parallel springs have two handles and one jumper. You grab one of the handles with your hand, the second serves as a support on which you rest approximately in the middle of your forearm. A movable jumper, fixed at both ends to springs, serves to adjust the load. By moving it in one direction or another, you can select the spring resistance you require. The range of adjustment is very large, which is an undeniable advantage - after all, such a projectile is equally suitable for both a beginner and an experienced athlete.
Now this design has undergone some changes: two springs were replaced by one, bent into a semicircular arc, and accordingly, instead of two handles, there is now one, equally convenient for both left and right hands. As a result, the dimensions of the device have decreased even further, making the product even more compact and, accordingly, mobile...
Finally, we would like to note that when training difficult muscles, we should not forget about other exercises (both isolated and only partially involving the target zone we need), for example:
- Zotman flexion,
- hammer curls for biceps standing and sitting,
- alternate or alternating supination and pronation of dumbbells,
- Well, and of course the good old hand strengthener.
