Organization of sports and recreational institutions.

Sports and recreation centers began to arise spontaneously at individual enterprises in our country. This was reflected in both their name and their use. Where doctors took part in the organization of such centers, they are called mechanotherapy rooms and are used mainly for treatment in enterprises where the initiators of their organization were physical education workers, they are called health shops and are intended for active recreation and recovery.

In the first case, responsibility for the work of the center takes over medical unit of the enterprise, in the second - sports club, DSO council. But in both cases, for creation and successful work, the help of the supervising trade union organization of the enterprise is necessary.

During the operation of the sports center, its maintenance is usually carried out 4-5 specialists, who are on the staff of the medical unit. Among them:

  1. one doctor,
  2. two or three physical education instructors,
  3. one or two nurses;

It is desirable that the nurse has massage skills.

The formation of groups must be preceded by organizational work. Firstly, everyone who wants to exercise submits a certificate from the clinic about their state of health, and secondly, upon referral from the health center, they undergo a medical examination at a medical and physical education clinic. After this, the center’s doctor decides on admission to classes, determines the nature of the exercises, their dosage and sequence. The student agrees with the teacher leading the group on the days and hours of classes that are convenient for him and their duration.

For each student in the FOC, a map, which contains information about the current level of physical condition, the day and time of classes, indicates the training program and its duration, and determines the exercises performed on certain simulators or gymnastic devices. The card contains forms for self-monitoring, where the practitioner enters data on the pulse after performing the exercises, as well as subjective sensations (fatigue, shortness of breath, etc.).

All of the above, unfortunately, applies only to employees. large enterprises and institutionswho have the means and capabilities to create FOCs. But what about those people who work in small enterprises, small institutions, and in the service sector?

Sports and recreation center

Classes at the sports and recreation center are held in subscription groups And for single tickets. The company purchases the required number of subscriptions for itself and distributes them among employees at full price or with a trade union subsidy. Non-working people can purchase season tickets (single tickets) at the sports and recreation center box office.

Any health and fitness center must be equipped with a medical control room and medical care. It is also necessary to have a consulting and pedagogical office and a help desk. If sports, therapeutic and prophylactic or other small devices (gymnastic roller, massage track, etc.) are used in classes, they are issued rental point.

Anyone who wants to exercise in such a city sports complex must go through the same medical examination procedure, as in FOC. However, given the greater independence of classes in the sports and recreation center, more attention needs to be paid to self-control. If you feel the slightest discomfort after classes, the student should go to the health center’s medical care office, and then the self-monitoring sheets will be indispensable for the doctor.

The management of any sports complex pays the lion's share of its attention to the material base of its organization. Existing equipment and split training systems are constantly being improved, supplemented and modernized. The catalog of available services is constantly expanding. Great importance is given comfort and ergonomics of premises and training rooms. For example, one of the very popular clubs in the capital recently massively purchased expensive TOP air conditioners to reorganize the internal system microclimate the entire sports complex. The entire fleet of existing exercise equipment has also been updated, and new areas have been added, such as bodyflex and Pilates. As a result, the number of regular customers has doubled, as has the profit of the sports complex itself, which in turn has provided the opportunity for further modernization and improvement of this sports facility...

The rest of the equipment is located in small rooms focused on classes fitness and bodybuilding. There is a bicycle ergometer, a treadmill, and a rowing machine. There are gymnastic walls along the entire perimeter of the hall, and there are also massagers. Those who come are greeted by two instructors-methodologists, both with higher education in physical education. Before the start of classes, the visitor's well-being is checked by pulse. Class duration is 45 minutes.

The lesson begins with a warm-up: gymnastic exercises, jumping and exercises to develop arm and abdominal strength. Then move on to exercise equipment: bicycle ergometer, rowing machine, treadmill. By the way, the equipment of this fitness center includes both a regular track and the “Hummingbird”, which we described in earlier articles, so running can be combined with a foot massage. After training, participants move on to bath procedures: sauna, contrast or circular shower. The session ends with a light tonic massage. And finally, rest: wrapped in sheets, everyone drinks tea and has a pleasant conversation.

The benefits of FOCs are undoubted, in addition, this is an enterprise that pays for itself, so in the near future, health centers will appear in all cities of our country, where they do not exist at the moment...
