Phosphoglucomutase

Phosphoglycomutases (phosphoglucomutants) - belong to the class of synthases, i.e. enzymes that catalyze the formation of products from simpler precursors; they increase the concentration of metabolites in the cell through non-enzymatic synthesis from other substances. Exogenous phosphoglycosaminutantase is present in plants, animals and microorganisms in the form of different isoforms, united by a common structure and nomenclature. Activity is extracted from extracts, so enzymatic activity compared to activity in, for example, whole leaves and tissues is called "free" activity. The level of activity of the plasmatic and mitochondrial forms varies during the growth period of plant tissue cultures, depending on the source of carbon and oxygen. Optimal pH values for enzymatic reactions range from 6.5 to 7.0.
