Hack squats with barbell

One more extreme productive exercise from the category squats. Can be performed:

  1. in the original with a barbell,
  2. in the “Gakk-machine” there is a specialized simulator with a similar effect.

How to properly perform hack squats?

  1. Grab the barbell so that it is in your outstretched, lowered arms behind your back.
  2. We squat slowly but deeply.
  3. Having lingered at the lower peak of the amplitude for a couple of seconds, we quickly rise.
  4. Breathing pattern – squatting – inhale; rising - exhale.
  5. For convenience, you can place a block or other analogue under your heels to create a slight elevation.

Hack squats with a barbell - a great tool for shaping the front of the thigh. You should also remember that when performing this exercise with your heels together and your toes spread out to the sides, you are working on internal thigh area, and by spreading your heels to the sides and bringing your toes together, you load accordingly external region.

It is considered the most optimal classic foot position. Slightly narrower than the shoulders, parallel to each other.
