Which shoes to choose
During pregnancy, a woman's weight increases, which puts additional stress on her legs. As a result, the leg expands and becomes flat. Swelling can also lead to severe pain when walking.
To avoid such problems, it is important to exercise your legs regularly. It is useful to walk barefoot on uneven surfaces. Picking up objects from the floor with your toes strengthens the arch of your feet. You can also periodically stand on a wide pipe or roll a small ball with your feet - this is an excellent massage that prevents pain and flat feet.
Choosing the right shoes plays a huge role. Due to swelling, you will have to give up your usual high-heeled or pointed-toe shoes. It is better to choose soft, worn-in shoes that will not put pressure. The heel height should not exceed 3 cm to reduce the risk of falls. But you shouldn’t completely abandon heels, since a flat sole leads to flattening of the foot. A wide, stable heel with a height of about 3 cm is optimal.
The toes of shoes should not be narrow, it is better to be square or round - this will prevent rapid fatigue and soreness. Sandals should be avoided so that the straps do not cut into swollen feet.
Choosing the right shoes during pregnancy will help maintain the beautiful shape of your feet and avoid many problems.
