Supermodel and host of America's Next Top Model Tyra Banks told how to get the perfect figure.
One of the main secrets, according to the model, is correct self-esteem. Tyra urges you to never call yourself fat at all costs. Banks, being one of the first Victoria's Secret Angels and the first African-American model to appear on the covers of GQ and Sports Illustrated, admitted that she herself used to be very worried about this.
Tyra said that she was thin until she was 15, and then, when she just started her modeling career, her body began to become more feminine due to puberty. Tyra suddenly "found out" that she was fat. The model remembers those times well and today wants to help girls think positively. Tyra expresses her position through her collaboration with the breakfast company Kellogs' Special K. Banks also took a plus-size model as an example in the first season of America's Next Top Model. By the way, Tyra tries not to use the last expression, replacing “plus-size” with “with an impressive figure.”
In general, Tyra's advice boils down to simple rules:
- don’t focus on what you don’t like about your body;
- love your virtues;
- do not overdo diets and enjoy every bite of food;
- communicate with adherents of a healthy lifestyle;
- do things you love;
- treat yourself with respect.
In addition, Banks advises girls to maintain their individuality, because being yourself is unique.
