Horse riding simulator

Devices of this type have been used for educational purposes since at the end of the century before last, when equestrianism was not yet a sports discipline, and the horse was in fact the usual, most accessible means of transportation, and almost everyone needed the ability to ride it.

Nowadays, this device is actually not used en masse and everywhere, such as a treadmill or an exercise bike. Moreover, you are unlikely to be able to see this device in a fitness club or gym, as well as in the most saturated and well-equipped sports and recreation centers, sports centers and sports complexes, even of regional significance.

The trainer is so specificthat you can meet him only at hippodromes and in equestrian sports sections. For fitness and bodybuilding purposes it not actually used, and on our website we consider it only as a reference, for general information purposes only. Health benefits of using the exercise machine "horse riding" no doubt. Horseback trotting rhythmically tenses and relaxes the leg muscles, actively pushing blood through the vessels. At the same time, the lower back muscles actively work. All this leads to improved blood circulation in the pelvic and kidney areas, as well as effective regulation of blood pressure. The electric drive creates oscillations of an adjustable frequency, which corresponds to different speeds of the horse, almost like during a real horseback ride...

Performed on the simulator two main exercises:

  1. "Riding without stirrups". The shocks of the saddle are absorbed by the oscillations of the lower back back and forth.
  2. "Lightweight trot". In time with the pushes, the student stands up in the stirrups and sits in the saddle at the same time as lowering it. In this case, only the muscles of the hips and lower back should work. The legs below the knees remain motionless.

Both of these exercises are performed with different hand positions. You can hold the reins with your hands, put your hands on your sides, and also put your hands behind your back or behind your head.

Well, perhaps that’s all we planned to tell you about this simulator. In subsequent articles we will continue to introduce you to devices used both in bodybuilding and in other various sports. There is still a lot of interesting things ahead...
