Protein is not only a valuable source of protein in the diet, but also one of the key factors for the normal functioning of the body. It is proteins that serve as the basis for muscle growth and recovery; they help improve metabolism, strengthen the immune system, and maintain healthy bones and teeth. Proteins are divided into two groups: complete and incomplete. A complete protein is one that contains all the essential amino acids. These include raw or dried eggs, grains, legumes, meat, and dairy products. Products that are recognized as a source of incomplete protein are useful, but only if they are consumed in addition to complete sources. Protein products that are sources of incomplete amino acids include yeast, fish and meat flour, and soy products. Plant foods and milk powders are rich in incomplete proteins. Which protein should you choose? There are many options. From scientific
