Device "runner in harness".

The device is intended for the physical and special training of a runner. Using the device, you can successfully develop an athlete’s strength qualities and significantly improve running technique.

The device (Fig. 1) is designed as follows. A wire loop is attached to an old car tire 1. A cord 2 5...6 m long is attached to the loop using a carabiner or a simple knot, the other end of which is connected to a wide canvas belt with a buckle 3.

Before running, there is a warm-up. The dosage of “harness running” is individual for each athlete. The dosage of the load is determined either by the length of the distance traveled, or by the weight of the tire (for a small car, passenger car, jeep, truck), when the traction force is 14.1; 17.1; 21.7; 27 kg. Most often, this specialized runner training is used in the preparatory period.

Jumping device.

Previously, we have already looked at a number of devices that improve the jumping ability of athletes. This device is designed for jumping or Fosbury flop method. It can mainly be used by high jumpers for technical training and training.

The main exercises are jumping over a pole, jumping in the “above the bar” position and simulating all flight movements at a slow pace, overcoming a low-set pole with the body. When performing movements using the Fosbury flop method, the pole is wrapped with a piece of thick sheet foam rubber. All movements must be performed with landing on soft mats. Basic exercises are shown in Fig. 2, b.

Retractable bars.

The device is intended for special training high jumpers. It allows you to imitate the movements of a jumper in the run-up and push, as well as develop the general and special jumping ability in on-the-spot exercises.

The device (Fig. 3, a) resembles retractable gymnastic bars. Poles 1 can be extended and the degree of their inclination can be changed. On the base, lugs 2 are welded to the channel beams at equal distances, to which shock absorbers are attached. Shock absorbers have devices for attaching to the arms, legs or body of those involved. Additional equipment includes a bridge and a box to support the legs during some exercises. Basic exercises are shown in Fig. 3, b...g.
