Children's food

Baby food is a special group of products intended for feeding young children. It is highly nutritious, easily digestible and rich in vitamin and mineral composition. Food for infants should not only be tasty, but also healthy. When creating a menu for such babies, it is necessary to take into account the age-related characteristics of their body, as well as various diseases that may be associated with the underdevelopment of individual organs and systems in the first year of life. One of the basic principles of baby nutrition is balanced foods that combine all the necessary nutrients. The most important element in infant nutrition is protein - it promotes the growth and development of the body. In addition, the food of young children should meet the babies' needs for fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. For babies in their first year of life, it is necessary to create a separate menu, taking into account their daily routine, nutritional needs, and the presence of diseases. For example, for a healthy child under the age of one year, the daily amount of main components required is as follows: proteins (53%), fats (31%), carbohydrates (16%). For children over one year old, it is recommended to increase the amount of carbohydrates to 40%. A deficiency of one or another component (protein, fats, carbohydrates) can lead to growth retardation, dysfunction of the nervous system and other organs.

There are several ways to prepare children's meals for a child over one year old. Firstly, these are soups. They are suitable for all children and are very beneficial for digestion. To prepare the soup, you can use vegetables and grains, such as buckwheat or rice. You can also add meat or fish broths. It is very important for children of this age to cut foods into small pieces - this way they are better digestible.

The second way to prepare food for young children is porridge. This is an important part of the kids' menu. The porridge contains cereals, milk or water, salt and sugar. Despite the fact that the porridges are nourishing and satiate the baby well, before you start eating they should be diluted with warm water or breast milk.

The third way to prepare baby food is meat or vegetable purees. These dishes can be given to children from one year old. Meat or vegetable soufflé before eating
