Fitness, bodybuilding motivation for training

What does the concept mean? "motivation" in bodybuilding and fitness? - this is, first of all, what forces us to get off the couch and go to the gym, achieve our goals and objectives, set personal records in training, lifting heavier weights; become more athletic and stronger. If you are an amateur and not a professional athlete, for whom there is also a material aspect to bodybuilding and fitness, then for you motivation for training – it’s just a psychological attitude, an internal attitude, which is no less important than proper nutrition and weight training.

Psychological attitude is no less important than physical fitness. You won’t go to the gym with a sore neck or leg, and if you do, there won’t be much effect from the training, since the sore element will not allow you to train with full strength and enthusiasm. The situation is similar with psychological background and mood. This healthy state is no less important to us than good physical shape. Our brain sends us signals of some psychological disorder with the same force as signals of pain in muscles and joints. Therefore, the training is doomed to failure from the very beginning. But as soon as you manage to unwind the tangle of emotional tension and problems, your composure and concentration during exercise, and therefore effectiveness.

So, let's look at the things that stimulate us to train:

  1. Anger. Ever since you were a teenager, you have dreamed of beating a neighbor who bullied you and left bruises on your body. This is what brought you to the gym and pushed you to lift weights in hopes of gaining strength, respect and confidence. What about the bullying of girls about your figure during your school years? This is no less reason to be angry and look for ways to improve and perfect it in order to prove your superiority. This state of aggression makes the heart beat faster and adrenaline rages in the body. However, this condition quickly passes and the continuation of the started training is no longer so desirable and requires more based motivation.
  2. Cinema, posters, posters. Most of us meet our idols on TV screens and in movies. After which the thought arises: “I want to be like them!” When you come to the gym for classes, you will see many beautiful posters of famous people and athletes in excellent physical shape, and during the break, on the screens of the monitors you can see motivating video clips of professionals training to “groovy” music. This all leads to a more positive state of aggression and envy, pushing one to achieve results more and more. This type of motivation is longer and more meaningful than the state of anger.
  3. Successful trainer or partner on training. The profession of a coach simply obliges you to become a good psychologist. After all, either a sports career or monetary reward depends on it. He must be able to find the right words and arguments so that the newcomer returns to the gym again and again. And your partner will simply spur you on to personal competition in achieving more successful forms and results. This method of motivation is good because, in principle, everything depends not on you, but on those around you. All you have to do is listen correctly to what the coach says, and your partner will lead you to the desired goal.
  4. Progress. The successes and achievements you achieve can be great motivators. When a person succeeds in something, and he understands it and constantly hears about it from all sides, he begins to make even more efforts to be happy with his reflection in the mirror. Rapid results are achieved through muscle memory. Even after a long break, it will help you not only recover, but also exceed previously achieved results.
  5. Dream. Unfortunately, this is the most unrealistic and ephemeral fantasy that forces you to still “stand on your feet.” If you really dream of squeezing 200 kg, then you will never stop at 150 kg!
  1. training,
  2. nutrition,
  3. rest,
  4. dream,
  5. and others…

Only thanks, first of all, to motivation, many now famous champion athletes were able to achieve impressive results and become real legends. And since they could do it, it means you can too, which is what we sincerely wish for you! Work hard every day, live your dream, and the result will not take long to come! Believe me!
