Today we will tell you about one more type of exercise. Moreover, about something that we did not know before. It would be more correct to say: they knew and performed similar movements in their daily lives, but they did not even realize that these movements, performed purposefully cyclically a large number of times, and performed regularly, could have a beneficial effect on some aspects of our health...
We will talk about the so-called Kegel technique.
The Kegel exercise actually does not belong to the type of classical exercise we considered earlier. sports exercises. He can soon be enrolled in the class health, highly specific, therapeutic or therapeutic and prophylactic procedures.
The founder and creator of the Kegel exercise is the now famous American professor of medical sciences in the field of gynecology, Arnold Kegel, who worked on studying this issue in the second half of the 20th century. This great scientist has been analyzing the entire spectrum of diseases of the human genitourinary system for decades. And as the crown of his many years of work - a set of exercises he developed aimed at strengthening the muscles of the perineum. Regular training of these internal muscles helps people in the prevention and treatment of ailments of the genitourinary organs, such as urinary incontinence and prostatitis, as well as diseases of the rectum, such as hemorrhoids, fecal incontinence and others.
Initially, the creator of the innovative technique oriented his complex of treatment procedures exclusively for women, but later it was found that they are also suitable for men. Moreover, at an early stage of research, the set of procedures in question was positioned as an exclusively therapeutic agent and was prescribed only to patients already suffering from some of the above-mentioned diseases. Subsequently, it was found that these exercises are useful not only for those suffering from illnesses, but also absolutely healthy people, firstly, as prevention, well, and secondly, how agent that increases intramuscular tone reproductive system, and as a result, human sexual potential. Long-term observations of dozens of volunteers, both men and women, only eloquently confirmed Arnold's assumptions. And today, decades after the inception of this teaching, this technique has gained incredible popularity throughout the world. At the same time, research in this direction continues continuously, and at the moment the positive effect of the technique on the body of pregnant women has been established. Health-improving exercises are also recommended for young mothers after childbirth for a speedy recovery. The influence of the technique on the well-being of patients who have undergone major operations is being actively studied, as well as how the above exercises will affect the young bodies of children and the elderly bodies of the elderly.It would also not be superfluous to mention that these miraculous exercises are now available for performance not only in their pure form, as they were originally developed by the world-famous American gynecologist, but also with special objects: all kinds of balls on threads, sticks and other stimulants.
