Like any other part of the human body, facial muscles must be sufficiently mobile. To do this, you should train the muscles of the face and neck.

Facial exercises are a kind of lift. With regular exercise, changes in appearance will be noticeable soon. Unlike salon rejuvenating procedures, regularly performed gymnastics at home does not require financial costs and brings much more benefits.

One of the popular programs is the "Face Forming" complex, created by Galina Dubinina. As a basis for her method, Galina took exercises from face-building, the founder of which is plastic surgeon Reinhold Benz. It only takes 10 minutes a day to practice.

Fitness from Galina Dubinina promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin and improves microcirculation in tissues. As a result, skin nutrition improves, and the oval of the face becomes clearer. After regular exercise, fine wrinkles are smoothed out, and deep ones become less noticeable.

Anastasia Burdyug’s technique is called “Super Face”, and is aimed at improving the condition of the muscles of the face and neck. The twenty-minute complex developed by this author does not require the use of special tools. The advantages of these methods are as follows:

Facial muscles are different from body muscles. They are mostly flat and thin. If the sagging muscles of the body are explained by their weakness and decreased tone, then wrinkles and folds on the face appear due to hypertonicity. To achieve the desired effect, you need a competent approach to selecting a set of exercises.

With the help of gymnastic exercises to train the eyelids, you can slow down the age-related drooping of the upper eyelid and get rid of pronounced “crow’s feet”. Exercises for the cheekbones can significantly improve the shape of the face due to microcirculation in the tissues.

In cases where it is impossible to completely get rid of wrinkles, gymnastics will help make them less pronounced.

Classes should begin as early as possible, before ptosis, or sagging tissue, appears. At a more mature age, the technique rejuvenates and tightens the facial contour and therefore also gives the desired result. It is recommended to do gymnastics for the face and neck every morning. In the initial stage, you can do exercises every other day, gradually moving on to regular daily training.

For classes you will need a mirror so that you can control the correctness of the movements. Hands must be clean and dry. First, you need to slightly warm up the skin with light massage movements and only then start doing the exercises. There should be no makeup on the face or décolleté.

A slight tingling and redness on the skin of the face during exercise indicates that the blood supply to the tissues and the lymphatic system are actively working.

Before starting exercise, lightly tingling should warm up the muscles. The complex consists of exercises to influence all groups of facial muscles.

Exercises developed by A. Burdyuk:

  1. For firmer cheeks and lower face tone. Open your mouth slightly, roll your upper lip inward without exposing your teeth. The skin on the chin should be taut. The lower jaw does not need to be extended. Open and close your mouth in this position.
  2. To eliminate drooping eyelids. Place your index fingers on the bridge of your nose, and your thumbs under your lower eyelashes. With your eyes closed, use your fingers to lift the skin of your eyelids upward. Hold for 20 seconds, then relax your muscles.
  3. To tone the lower face and neck. This exercise will help get rid of a double chin. Cross your arms and wrap them around your neck. Raise your head and stretch your neck forward (toward the mirror). Smile without exposing your teeth, try to reach your nose with the tip of your tongue, shaking your head 10-15 times to the sides.
  4. To relieve swellingunder the eyes. Place the tips of your index fingers in the center of your lower eyelids. Close your eyes as if from the bright sun, look up, and remain in this position for 30 seconds. Then relax and remove your fingers.
  5. For forehead wrinkles. Place the joined little fingers on the point of the “third eye” - just above the bridge of the nose. Place the pads of the remaining fingers along the line of the eyebrows. Use your fingers to pull the skin down, while simultaneously raising your eyebrows and directing your eyes to the ceiling. Hold for 30 seconds, then remove your fingers and relax.
  6. To fill lips. Roll the upper lip inward, leaving the teeth exposed. Hold for 15-20 seconds.
  7. For eyelid training. Place your middle and index fingers under the outer tips of your eyebrows, trying to lift them. Open your eyes wide, lifting your upper eyelid. Do this 10 times, looking straight at the mirror, then 10 times looking down.
  8. To lift the corners of the lips. Smile widely, tightening your lips. Raise the corners of your lips and then lower them a little. 30 seconds in each position.
  9. To change the shape of the nose. Lightly pinch with two fingers the area where the hump ends and the nasal cartilage begins. Use your index finger to lift the tip of your nose. Moving your upper lip downwards, apply noticeable pressure to the tip of your nose.
  10. To smooth out nasolabial wrinkles. Must be performed 20 times. Stretch your lips as if pronouncing the sound “U”, at the same time pronounce the sound “O”, and wrinkle your nose, as if sniffing. The lips should be pressed tightly against the teeth.
  11. Recoverycheekbone contour. Place your fingers opposite your cheekbones, press your lips tightly to your teeth, opening your mouth slightly. Tighten and relax your muscles alternately, without touching your face with your hands.

At the time of execution, a burning and tingling effect may occur. This indicates that the muscles are warmed up and working efficiently.

Galina Dubinina has developed her own facelift complex for the face and neck, effective both at 30 and after 50 years. You should train your muscles daily:

  1. To smooth out nasolabial wrinkles. Place your thumbs on your teeth and smooth out the folds, pressing your fingers with your upper lip. To combat wrinkles near the corners of the lips, there is a similar exercise, but the fingers should be placed on the fangs.
  2. For wrinkles on cheeks and cheekbones. It is effective to use frequent rapid blinking for 20 seconds. You can make it more difficult: press your lips together, as if pronouncing the sound “O”, and raise your eyes up. This is how the orbicularis muscle is trained.
  3. Against crow's feet. Press, pulling back, with your fingers on the outer corners of the eyes. Repeat 10 times with your eyes open and the same number with your eyes closed.
  4. To relieve fatigue and shine in the eyes. Perform “shooting with the eyes” from side to side, in circular movements, and up and down.
  5. From the double chin. Press and hold your upper lip with your tongue.
  6. Against the crease between the eyebrows. You should place your fingers on the problematic fold and frown, preventing the fold from forming.
  7. For jaw tone and neck laxity. You need to rest your chin on your fist and open your mouth, overcoming the resistance of your skin.

For greater effectiveness, Galina Dubinina recommends women use nourishing masks, washing with ice cubes from herbal decoctions or mineral water with milk.

This complex contains exercises that target problem areas. Each of them is selected individually depending on which area needs to be affected:

  1. Inflating the cheeks with air “rolling” from side to side.
  2. Smile with the mouth closed while resisting movements with the palms pressed to the cheeks

  1. Twisting the lower lip with tension on the chin and returning to the starting position.
  2. Press your chin to your chest and stay in this position for 10 seconds.
  3. Throw your head back until you feel tension in your neck muscles.
  4. Turn your head to the sides at a slow pace, stretching your neck muscles as much as possible.

All exercises must be performed at a slow pace. The number of repetitions, unless otherwise indicated, is 6-10 times.

Before you start the complex, you need to warm up your muscles. All finger touches should be light. It is effective to perform exercises in combination with light massage movements using aromatic oils (lavender, fir, rosemary, etc.).

After training, you need to relax the muscles of your face and neck as much as possible and let them rest. Then you can apply a mask or cream to the face and décolleté.
