Scientists have proven that mushrooms help you lose weight

Scientists from Johns Hopkins University have concluded that porcini mushrooms are an excellent substitute for red meat and promote weight loss.

The trial involved people who were obese, with an average age of 48 years. Some volunteers ate a cup of porcini mushrooms instead of red meat for a year, while others stuck to their usual diet.

As a result, it turned out that all those participants who ate mushrooms were able to lose weight significantly. Their figures overall have improved significantly. Previously, it was found that daily consumption of mushrooms improves health and is also the main prevention of cancer.
