Just yesterday I came across the Health Webmaster Relay Race on the topic of our health, or rather the ailments that appear due to sitting at the computer for a long time. I decided to deviate from my rules and write an article spontaneously.

Brevity is the sister of talent - let's remember these rules and not overdo it. And so for every profession there are a number of professional ailments; if a webmaster is a profession that is not particularly physically demanding, this does not mean that working at a computer you will be full of energy.

Let's look at all the webmaster's diseases in a list - then I will explain what's what and how to deal with it.

There are also a lot of minor diseases and pathologies that come from birth - the threshold of the heart, injuries, etc. We will not particularly consider them, since basically our work on the computer has nothing to do with it.

Let's begin to look at the main scourge of many - visual impairment. This problem affects almost everyone. If you are 18 years old, do not draw hasty conclusions - by the age of 30, your vision may deteriorate significantly from such work.

What needs to be done to prevent eye fatigue or how to reduce the risk of vision impairment. Your workplace should be well lit; never work at a computer in the dark; the cornea of ​​the eye also needs sun. Do not forget about the eye massage and it is advisable to wash the retina at least once a day - with special cleaning agents - Visine or go to where lenses are sold (ophthalmology), and also buy a lens rinser, it is ideal for washing the eyes. You can do gymnastics for the eyes and the like, but we will not dwell on this in detail, since a whole section can be devoted to vision.

All our experiences and our whole life make themselves felt in the heart, a sedentary lifestyle can already be called a disease, and coupled with worry and bad habits, sooner or later our heart begins to mope. I will tell you a couple of nuances that will help you strengthen your heart and its work. Make it a rule, no matter how stressful or lethargic the day is - spend about one hour walking, this will save your heart from heart attacks by 60%, it would also be nice to drink a tincture of hawthorn and rosehip, this tincture strengthens the heart and improves blood circulation . Personally, I chose swimming for myself - since I have been doing it since I was 6 years old, it has been scientifically proven that swimming 30 minutes a day protects your body from many diseases - cardiovascular diseases, good blood circulation, tone of all muscles in the body, and the removal of salts from the ligaments - The list of advantages of swimming is essentially much longer, but I pointed out those that are the main problems of the webmaster.

Back, ligaments and joints, lower back. We hunch over and over time our posture begins to resemble a hunchback from a fairy tale; many webmasters suffer from scoliosis (curvature of the spine). The solution is quite easy, you can, of course, go to exercise therapy courses or sign up with a massage therapist-chiropractor, but there are simpler actions. 1. Try to hang on a horizontal bar or something similar at least once a day after work; you don’t need to pull yourself up - just hang for a minute. 2. Sleep on a hard bed and have a pillow that has a maximum lift of 5-7 centimeters. 3. Bodybuilders also have a good exercise for posture called deadlift. You can easily find a manual about this exercise on the Internet.

Let's move on to joints and ligaments, if you have a sedentary lifestyle, the salt that we eat in food will be deposited in your joints. There are essentially only two ways out. 1. It is to exclude salt from the diet altogether - the body itself will cleanse itself of it over time. But you don’t always want to eat food that isn’t salty! 2. All kinds of stretching, turning the body, stretching the arms, neck, everything that is possible. By these actions you stimulate your ligaments to work and the salt slowly comes out of them. By the way, radiculitis and everything connected with it primarily depends on salt consumption and the amount of it in your body - remember this!
