Gak simulator or in common parlance “Gak machine”

This machine is named after him ideological creator - famous bodybuilder, our compatriot Georgy Gakkenshmidt (also known under the pseudonym “Russian Lion”) - it was he who invented this type of squats - like Hack squats. The Angle Squat Machine is primarily designed to develop the quadriceps and calf muscles in isolation.

Unlike traditional squats with a barbell on the shoulders, the machine significantly relieves the load on the spine and also reduces the likelihood of injury to the knee joints.

The simulator consists of a base (1), two stands (2), guides (3) mounted at an angle of 50 degrees (this angle of inclination allows maximum load on the working muscle group), a trolley (4) moving along guides on double rollers, two fixing handles (5), shoulder restraints, short barbell (6) attached to the cart, platform (7) set at an angle of 35 degrees.
