Deltoid

Well-developed deltoids, or as athletes call them for short: deltoids, in my opinion, are the most spectacular and visually attractive muscles of the human body. They are clearly visible in almost all bodybuilding poses. Without them, it is generally difficult to imagine a man with an athletic build. Broad and strong shoulders are what distinguishes a real athlete from a simple gray man in the street.

To form these muscles, 3 main types of movements are used:
  1. Pressing or pushing (seated press, standing press, both barbells and dumbbells),
  2. Swings to the sides of the body (all kinds of swings in different directions, at different angles),
  3. Pulls from the front along the body (pulls with a narrow grip to the chin).

The structure of the deltoid muscle can be divided into 3 parts, called “heads”. There are: anterior, middle, and posterior heads of deltas. Professional bodybuilders also divide each of them vertically - into upper, middle and lower parts...

It is worth taking note of the fact that the deltoid muscle is extremely susceptible to possible ruptures and sprains, so never start training it without a thorough warm-up and warm-up... Remember: bodybuilding is a slow sport, and there is no point in forcing things here - it risks getting sports an injury from which you can recover for more than six months. If you recover at all! Many bodybuilding stars ended their professional careers as a result of injuries to the shoulder muscles. So be alert and take care of yourself...
