Today we want to talk about how a chair can help train the triceps - a capricious muscle that is difficult to bring into proper condition. To start the exercise, you need to sit on a chair and place your hands on the edge of the chair, resting on it. Throughout the entire exercise, the body weight will be supported exclusively on the arms.

Next, you need to slide out of the chair, hanging by your hands. It is very important that the pelvis practically touches the chair without moving too far forward. Another significant point is the shoulders. They should be lowered down, the shoulder blades should be brought together. If you follow all these guidelines, you will find the right starting position.

Then you need to bend your arms at the elbow joint to an angle of 90 degrees. The torso slides down along the chair. In this case, it is necessary to control the position of the pelvis and shoulders. Once you go down, you need to stay for a few seconds and then go up. Another essential point for the correct technique of performing the exercise is that the hands should be as close to the body as possible, and the elbows should always look back.

Having done this exercise at a slow pace and mastered the technique, you can start doing push-ups. It is recommended to perform 3 sets of 16-20 push-ups. During the exercise, your legs only support the body, but by straightening your legs and stretching them forward, you can slightly increase the load. It is important to base yourself on how you feel and not overwork yourself.
