Grapes and dairy products strengthen bones

American scientists have found that the microelement boron contained in vegetables and fruits helps protect bones from premature wear in old age. Grapes contain the most boric acid salts. Scientists say that just one glass of juice or wine contains a milligram of boron. Apples, pears, almonds, plums and carrots are also rich in boron. In the study, the best results were shown by women over 45 years of age who consumed 3 milligrams of “grape” boron daily.

It is worth knowing one more subtlety: the condition for the protective effect of boron is a sufficient amount of calcium. That is, to complete the effect, in addition to fruits and vegetables, a person must eat calcium-rich dairy products.
