    6. ...and other strength training equipment, which you can learn more about here.
  2. Cardio equipment, the most popular of which are:

    1. Treadmill,
    2. Bicycle ergometer,
    3. Orbitrek or Ellipsoid,
    4. Rowing
    5. and other representatives of this class of devices, read more about each of them here.
  3. Equipment, devices and devices for working with free weights and your own body weight:

For ease of use, all this equipment is organized and distributed in certain areas of the hall. And if strength training equipment and devices for working with free weights can still somehow be mixed up, then Cardio devices are usually located in a specific area of the room allocated for the gym. This part of the fitness club or gym is called the cardio zone. In other words, the cardio zone is a specially designated area of the sports complex, which contains all the cardio equipment available in the club’s arsenal.

Since aerobic training is a mandatory element of an athlete’s training in almost any “iron sport” discipline, without which it is simply impossible to imagine a physical activity, cardio equipment and, accordingly, the cardio zone are a mandatory component of any gym. Nowadays, even the most seedy club must have cardiac devices. If your club doesn’t have them, it means you have the wrong, backward club, and it urgently needs to be changed to another.

And remember: no strength training can take place without parallel cardio training, because if you abuse the first to the detriment of the second, and even worse, if you ignore the second altogether, you will definitely face serious trouble and inevitable health problems! After all, our heart, lungs and blood vessels also need training! And no less than our muscles! Therefore, visit the cardio zone of your gym regularly. And it doesn’t matter: when you visit it you are in the phase:

  1. warm-ups,
  2. hitches
  3. or the main part of the lesson.

Sports medicine experts have long proven that the right athlete should spend about 30% of his time on cardiac devices. Then your training will be complete and balanced. Regular work on cardio equipment will protect you from heart and vascular diseases, which is what we sincerely wish for you! Don't get sick and train wisely! And may the force be with you!
