Head massage

Before starting self-massage, you need to study the location of your arteries and veins. They pass in front of the ears, very close to the surface of the skin, so that they can be easily felt with your fingers. The massage should be done energetically, smoothly, but not harshly. Always follow the path of the blood and never make a circular motion. Avoid rubbing that crosses the blood flow.

SCALP MASSAGE

In order for your hair to be healthy, it is necessary that daily morning and evening scalp massage becomes a ritual, just like brushing your teeth. This stimulates hair growth as the blood flow going to the head nourishes all the tissues, affecting hair growth. The massage relaxes the scalp and thus ensures good blood circulation. Massage also promotes the growth of the “hair soil” under the scalp, preventing its degeneration. Remember, when you lose the hair on your scalp, you go bald!

A normal massage is not only a process of rubbing the scalp, but also involves pinching and tapping, especially on the crown and sides of the head, where the skin fits most tightly to the skull. Vibrators can be used for massage, but, of course, dexterous manipulating fingers are more effective.

Massage helps prevent baldness. If hair loss is not caused by any internal causes, massage almost always helps.

Keeping your hair and scalp clean is more difficult than any other part of the body, as you need to spend quite a lot of time washing your hair thoroughly. In addition to external dirt, sweat and oily hair secretions are added. The only way to keep your hair clean is to wash it with water and good soap.

Before washing your hair, you need to massage and comb your hair. Begin the massage by pressing vigorously on the skin, moving the palm and fingers back and forth, up and down, making circular movements until each part of the scalp becomes soft and flexible and moves freely.

"WARMING" THE SCALP

If you decide to do a massage, then you need to go about it gradually. In the first days, it is recommended to “warm up” the scalp and hair by pressing on the scalp with your hands and moving them upward in a circular motion.

When the scalp relaxes, you need to gradually move on to a more energetic massage that stimulates hair growth. Kneading and pinching the scalp is also very useful.

Gently but firmly pulling the hair strengthens and stimulates its growth. Pass each strand of hair through closed fingers.

SEQUENCE OF MASSAGE

  1. Place the fingertips of your right hand gently but firmly over the temporal artery and vein on the right side of the head at the level of the right earlobe. Now slide your fingers, applying gentle pressure, upward, just above the top tip of the ear or just below the line where the hat touches the head. With this movement you drive blood up the artery to the scalp.

  2. Continue to keep your fingers pressed to prevent blood from flowing out.

  3. Still keeping the fingers of your right hand pressed, begin sliding upward in the same manner with the three fingers of your left hand until they touch the fingers of your right hand.

  4. Leaving your left hand in the upper position and applying slight pressure with your fingers to prevent the outflow of blood, with the fingers of your right hand again begin moving from bottom to top, driving blood to the scalp.

  5. Repeat these movements, always starting at the bottom before stopping at the top.

  6. The most important manipulation. Still holding your left hand in the up position, place the three fingers of your right hand midway between the top of your head and the fingers of your left hand. Start moving, pressing, the fingers of your right hand from above the skull until you meet the fingers of your left hand.
