Prevention of musculoskeletal injuries

In most cases, such injuries occur as a result of daily activities: driving a car, playing sports, doing housework. Therefore, care must be taken when engaging in these activities.
Physical exercise has a positive effect on the musculoskeletal system as a whole and on individual muscle groups. An effective physical fitness program, such as jogging, cycling or walking, can help strengthen your body and prevent injury.
Signs and symptoms of musculoskeletal injuries
The following signs and symptoms are usually observed: pain;
• soreness;
• swelling;
• inability to perform normal motor functions.
In severe forms, the following symptoms may appear:
• change in skin color;
• deformation;
• external bleeding;
• a feeling of crunching or cracking in the bones

Any more or less serious injury is accompanied by pain, swelling and tenderness to the touch.
When deformed, swelling occurs, atypical bumpy formations, protrusions, depressions, and part of the body may be at an unusual angle. Deformation is easy to detect when comparing the damaged and healthy parts of the body.
The victim can tell you which part of the body he is unable to move or which movements cause severe pain. When an injury occurs, muscles usually contract to hold the injured part in a certain position.
