Fitness lesson: using a book as a trainer

Sit down on an imaginary chair, then straighten up and lift your left leg back. Squat down again, straighten up and lift your right leg back. Keep your back straight at all times, and raise your arms to chest level with each squat.

Stand straight, place your feet shoulder-width apart, toes apart. Do a shallow squat, level up and move your left leg to the right as far as possible. Squat down again, straighten out and move your right leg to the left as far as possible. Keep your back straight, hands on your waist.

Stand straight, step forward with your right foot and bend your knees at a 90-degree angle (with your bottom knee off the floor). Afterwards, lightly push back with your right foot, take a step back and bend your knees. Do the same on the other leg.

Take a step back with your right foot, squat slightly, return to the starting position and lift your leg up. Do the same on the other leg.

Lie on your back, bend your legs under you. Slowly lift your buttocks off the floor, hold for 2-3 seconds, then lower down, only lightly touching the floor. The exercise should be done at an intense pace.

Get on all fours, keep your back straight. Start performing the following movements in turn: bend your right leg at the knee and lift it to chest level, straighten your leg and lift it up. Repeat 2-3 times. Align your right leg, keep it level with your body and lift it as high as possible. Repeat 2-3 times. Afterwards, bend and straighten your leg at the knee, keeping your leg hanging.
