Yogurt helps normalize blood pressure

Eating a small portion of yogurt every day can reduce the risk of high blood pressure by one third. This was stated by American scientists from the University of Minnesota.

The fact is that calcium increases the flexibility of blood vessels, which means it is easier for them to adapt to pressure changes and expand.

During the 15-year study, researchers observed more than 2,000 volunteers who had no history of hypertension at the start of the experiment. Each of the participants answered questions about eating yoghurt three times during the experiment. As a result, if at least 2% of daily caloric intake came from yogurt, the risk of hypertension in participants was reduced by 31%.
