A set of exercises for the muscles of the lateral surface of the body

The muscles of the lateral surface of the body play an important role in maintaining correct posture and strengthening the lumbar spine.   1. Starting position - lying on your side, legs bent. Raise your torso up, resting your feet and hand on the floor. Perform 4-30 times for each side.

  2. Starting position - lying on your back, legs bent. Raise your shoulders up without turning your torso. Do 10-50 raises for each knee direction.

  3. Starting position - lying on your side, upper arm behind your head. Lift your upper shoulder up, drawing your elbow toward your hip. Perform 10-50 times for each side.

  4. The starting position is the same as in exercise 3. Raise your shoulders and both legs up at the same time. Do 10-50 lifts for each side.

  5. Stretch the muscles of the sides of the body by bending to the sides. Hold each pose for 30-60 seconds.
