Energy drinks: PROS and CONS

Several years ago, American scientists decided to save the world from fatigue and blues by creating “smart drinks” - energy tonics. These invigorating cocktails have become a real salvation for workaholics and night owls, but should you trust them?

BEHIND

  1. Energy drinks contain beneficial B vitamins, which are often lacking in the diet.

  2. Amino acids and other components compensate for the lack of “energy hormones” in the brain.

  3. Guarana invigorates better than caffeine and does not irritate the stomach.

AGAINST

  1. Vitamins from drinks will not replace a complete multivitamin complex.

  2. Energy drinks are contraindicated for children, pregnant women, and people with heart problems.

  3. It is better not to mix them with alcohol, it is dangerous to health.

  4. Drinking more than 1 can per day is not recommended, as it can weaken your nerves.

In general, energy drinks really give you energy and help you cope with fatigue. But you should use them moderately and carefully, because an excess of “artificial” energy can be harmful. It is better to choose drinks with healthy ingredients, rather than just a large dose of caffeine. And of course, nothing can replace a healthy lifestyle and proper rest.
