Cleansing two-day diet

It will help your body to relax, it is especially useful after long holiday feasts and is generally useful for any body from time to time. If you feel tired and overloaded, try this cleansing diet right next weekend. Before you start, buy your favorite vegetables, fruits and mineral water. Buy healthy carrot juice - any vegetable juice (a juicer would be very helpful for this - just a necessary device for a healthy lifestyle), stock up on herbal teas - mint and chamomile are just perfect and grab a large package of vitamin C tablets from the pharmacy.

Like any short diet, the cleansing diet has its own rules:

  1. Don't plan anything strenuous during this time—this is not the time to run a marathon or host crowds of relatives.

  2. Drink about a liter of mineral or filtered water a day - that's about 8 glasses.

  3. If you are unsure, as with any diet, consult your doctor.

The first day

BREAKFAST: Start your day with a juicy fruit salad. Choose citrus fruits - grapefruit, orange or tangerine, plus pineapple slices, crisp apple slices and a few grapes. In total, you should get no more than a filled bowl with a slide.

What to drink: Replace regular tea and coffee with herbal tea or mineral water. If you can’t imagine a morning without hot tea, make tea with lemon, but no milk!

LUNCH:

Take half a small melon, scrape out the seeds and fill it with a fruit salad - again opt for citrus fruits and something special like kiwi, fresh figs and grapes. Remind yourself that this is only for one day!

What to drink: herbal teas and plenty of mineral water.

DINNER:

Same as for second breakfast, but vary the fruit salad to make it more appealing.

What to drink: herbal teas and plenty of mineral water.

BEFORE BEDTIME:

Many will find it very difficult to fall asleep after such a fruity day, since you can practically feel your digestive system working. If this sounds like you, eating a banana and drinking a calming cup of chamomile before bed can help you relax before bed with your favorite book.

AFTERNOON:

Drink as much mineral water or herbal tea as possible to flush and cleanse your body of toxins. For example, if you drank a lot of alcohol over the holidays, it may also be helpful to take vitamin C. Take a couple of tablets in the morning, and then 4 throughout the day (one every 2 hours). Everything that is not needed will quickly be eliminated from the body.

Second day

BREAKFAST: Fill a glass with carrot or other vegetable juice, season with salt and black pepper, and stir with a stick of celery - which you can then eat. Grill 4 large tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and your favorite herbs - basil is great.

What to drink: herbal tea

LUNCH:

A large portion of salad with your favorite vegetables. Start with a crisp green salad, chopped up cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, green onions, celery, green beans, and red or yellow peppers for flavor and color. Season with salt, black pepper and lemon juice or aromatic vinegar if desired.

What to drink: herbal teas and mineral water.

DINNER:

Lightly steam broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, spinach or kale and season only with salt and pepper. If you really want some bright flavor, sprinkle with a little Parmesan cheese.

What to drink: herbal teas and plenty of mineral water or vegetable juice, as for breakfast.

AFTERNOON:

Take one vitamin C tablet for breakfast and drink as much herbal tea and mineral water as you want.
