Lipo

Lipo (from the Greek lipos - fat) is the collective name for fatty fruits of plants eaten both raw and after heat treatment.

Most of the oil from which vegetable oil is produced is obtained from vegetable fats and oils. This applies to unrefined and semi-refined vegetable oils (sunflower, corn, soybean, flaxseed, olive).

Fats and oils are products of plant origin and consist mainly of saturated (saturated) fatty acids and a small amount of mono- and diglycerides of these acids. They also contain alcohols, phosphatides, vitamins and minerals. The composition of vegetable oils depends on the type of oilseed plant and the conditions of its cultivation and ripening.
