Passive relaxation after work in the gym.

We have already talked a lot about active recreation options for a bodybuilder, such as jogging and race walking, cycling, swimming in the pool, mountaineering, hiking and outdoor recreation. As well as team ball games such as volleyball, basketball, football and others. Modern active ways of spending time: paintball, airball and laser tag.

An entire branch of our website is dedicated to massage, bath procedures and special products that speed up the recovery of an athlete...

In this article I would like to tell you more about passive rest after working with weights, the role of which is also very important. And maybe even much higher and more important compared to active pastime...

Well, of course, this is, firstly, a dream. A lot has already been said about this too. Therefore, we will focus on alternative variations of passive recreation.

Well, the first thing that immediately comes to mind is cinema. There is nothing better than, after a great workout, sitting down in a chair or having a good time on the sofa, having a good meal with a protein shake, and watching a good, fresh movie. Moreover, as you can see, it is not at all necessary, as in the old days, to go to the cinema and waste your time and money. Today it is quite accessible to watch the latest films in the film industry almost free of charge using the World Wide Web. Moreover, in good quality and even without registration. The only thing you need to focus your attention on is the repertoire. Choose the films you plan to watch carefully. Well, one of my friends, a bodybuilder with many years of experience, loves horror films. He always watches enough of these nightmares at night, and then he can’t fall asleep after that, and the next day he complains in the hall about his lack of sleep, lethargy and weakness. What can I say? - it’s my own fault - it would be better to watch something positive and funny before going to bed, motivating for further hard work, for example, the famous Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Pumping Iron” or other illogical films. By the way, video motivation is very important, and many famous bodybuilding stars include it in their daily plan of so-called emotional and psychological preparation. After all, physical rehabilitation alone will not keep you alive - you also need to rest your soul, and also have a positive, competent attitude towards the next upcoming work on yourself...

Well, and finally, let’s remember another type of passive recreation. I am simply convinced that no films or videos in good quality can replace good old reading. It’s so good, after hard work with impressive weights, to pick up a good motivating book, for example, the brilliant creation of Stuart Mac Robert for all beginning bodybuilders “Think” or something similar...
