Slag-removing diet: what is the point?

The deslag diet is a method of losing weight and cleansing the body, based on alternating solid and liquid foods. This diet helps get rid of toxins and waste in the body, improve the functioning of the digestive system and lose excess weight.

The essence of the diet is that every day is divided into two parts: solid and liquid. Solid foods include plant foods: fruits, vegetables, greens, grains, legumes, rice, etc. Liquid foods include water, juices, decoctions, tea, etc. Liquid food helps to increase urine production and remove waste and toxins from the body.

The period of the diet is three weeks, during which you should alternate four days on a schedule. It is recommended to combine diet with exercise and massage to improve its effectiveness.

Consider the menu for four days:

1 day

  1. Breakfast: low-fat yogurt, grain bread, fruit salad; oatmeal (muesli); low-fat cottage cheese and fruits.
  2. Lunch: a large portion of vegetable salad, seasoned with low-fat yogurt or lemon juice with a teaspoon of oil, a portion of vegetable soup, a piece of bread.
  3. Dinner: stewed vegetables without fat, 50 grams of brown rice, a glass of skim milk or kefir, fruit.

Day 2

  1. Liquid diet: vegetable and fruit juices, water, herbal tea.

Day 3

  1. Breakfast: a serving of sugar-free muesli with skim milk, fruit.
  2. Lunch: vegetable soup, lettuce, 50-100 grams of spaghetti or buckwheat porridge, fruit.
  3. Dinner: a portion of legumes, fresh vegetable salad, fruit or jacket potatoes, tomato and cucumber salad, fruit.

4 day

  1. Liquid diet: juices, water, tea.

In between meals, you can eat fruits, dried fruits and nuts in quantities of up to 30 grams.

A toxin-removing diet helps cleanse the body, improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and reduce weight. However, before starting a diet, you should consult your doctor, especially if you have chronic diseases or allergies to any foods.
