Sports bars and analogues of barbells for the courtyard.

The weightlifting barbell, horizontal bar and parallel bars are the most popular equipment in the world. bodybuilding And fitness. No matter how hard the designers and constructors of modern simulators try, they cannot outdo the “classics”... Today we will find out how these equipment are equipped courtyard sports grounds and mini-stadiums our Russian cities.

Exercise machine with a barbell for a sports town.

Typical barbell exercise machine consists of a U-shaped stand (metal pipes with a diameter of 50 mm) and, in fact, the rod itself, which is connected to the stand by movable couplings made from sections of gas pipes of a slightly larger diameter (2-4 mm). Rings made of a metal rod are welded to the couplings, into which the bar is inserted. Holes are drilled in the racks to install locking bolts. They are used to limit the movement of the bar during lowering. The bolts are threaded into the holes of the racks at the same height and secured with nuts.

Once the neck and couplings are assembled, they can be welded. The bar must be all-metal, not necessarily factory-made. As a load, you can use various blanks, symmetrically located on both sides of the bar. To secure the load, you can cut threads for nuts or drill through holes for bolts.

The distance between the vertical posts where the bar moves is 100 cm. The height of the posts is 3.2 m. The first through hole is drilled 50 cm from the top edge of the frame, then every 10 cm - 15 holes so that the last one is located at a distance of 2 m from the top.

The lower part of the frame is mounted into the ground to a depth of 70 cm and concreted.

On the apparatus, squats are performed with a bar on the shoulders, squeezing the bar from the chest, bent-over raises, etc., and if there is a wooden platform under the apparatus, squeezing with legs and arms while lying on the back.

A special sports simulator is made from gas pipes with a cross-section of 70-80 mm or more or logs with a diameter of 15-20 cm and a length of 3-4 m. There are two types of simulator.

First - "lifting" type, has an axial fastening at one end of the beam and 20 cm long handles for performing exercises at the other. A used car tire or a U-shaped wooden frame is buried in the ground 1 m from the handles, which serves as a support post for the simulator.

For axial fastening, wooden blocks with holes drilled for the pin are used. The pin is inserted into the holes of the bars and the loading pipe (log) of the simulator. The ends are threaded for screwing on nuts.

This apparatus is used to lift the barbell to the chest and push it out from the chest. You can lift the apparatus in a squat, in a standing bend, or standing from the chest. In this case, the main load falls on the muscles - flexors-extensors of the arms and extensors of the torso and legs.

The second type of strength trainer allows you to perform movements "pressure" character.

The structural difference of this projectile is that the axial fastening is located not at the end, but in the middle of the load log. In addition, a weight box can be installed at the far end of the log, into which additional weight (metal blanks, sand, etc.) is placed.

The exercises are performed while standing facing the apparatus or standing with the arm tilted down and forward on the handles of the simulator. Extending your arms and tilting your torso forward, lower the handles down, performing repeated pressing actions. In this case, the main load falls on the muscles - arm extensors and torso flexors.

Gymnastic parallel bars.

Easily available for DIY production gymnastic parallel bars usually made from two metal tubular poles (diameter 50-60 mm, length 5 m) and six wooden posts (80-100 mm and 2 m). Two 4-meter poles are nailed to the latter at an equal distance along the base. Then the columns are connected by transverse one and a half meter poles.

On the uneven bars, movements are performed on the hands in support, push-ups, from swinging in support - sitting legs apart, etc.

Double log

Parallel beams are installed at a distance of 2.5-3.0 m to provide the necessary safety zone. The height of the projectile is 0.7 ~ 1.0 m. The length of the horizontal part of the log is 3.0 ~ 5.0 m or more. In the places where the dismount occurs, a pit with sand or sawdust is installed.

Horizontal sports logs are made from metal gas pipes or wooden logs with a diameter of 150~250mm. In this case, vertical bases made of channels or pieces of rail are welded to horizontal pipes and concreted. They can also be made from wooden blocks (see “Bars”). In this case, the logs and posts are connected with metal brackets or strip iron.

One of the double parallel logs may not be round, but flat. For its manufacture, a piece of metal rail or a wooden beam with a cross-section of 100×100 mm can be used. To ensure climbing onto a log, its horizontal part can begin with an inclined section 1.5-2 m long.

On a double balance beam, walking is performed with various positions and movements of the arms, running, jumping, turns to develop balance, and also various exercises from the starting positions:

  1. sitting on horseback
  2. lying on your stomach
  3. sitting sideways, etc.

Tire slide

The projectile is made from worthless for further usage car tires of various diameters. The lower tires are dug halfway into the ground and secured to each other using pipes. Metal pipes are connected to tires with wire with a diameter of 5-6 mm. The upper tires are connected to the lower ones and to each other using bolts and nuts located on the inside of the tires. Options for connecting tires to slides can be very different.
