Autumn diet and its features

Autumn diet and its features

To prepare your body for the upcoming cold weather, you need to strengthen your immunity; for this you need to monitor your diet, especially in the fall. There are three basic rules for eating in the fall: food should be rich in vitamins, hot, and not heavy on the stomach.

Stomach diseases such as gastritis or ulcers most often worsen in the fall. Therefore, at this time it is worth giving up fatty and spicy foods and paying attention to stewed or baked meat in combination with vegetables. It is better to take beef, lamb or rabbit.

Various stews (both vegetable and meat), fish stewed with vegetables and, of course, fermented milk products such as kefir, cottage cheese, fermented baked milk will give energy to the body. Citrus fruits, apples and pomegranates will help in preparing for winter, saturate the body with vitamins, and raise hemoglobin levels.

In the fall, many people often suffer from “autumn depression,” a worsening mood. In order to prevent this, you can treat yourself to chocolate with nuts - an excellent antidepressant. Spices will also help lift your mood: vanilla, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Iodine has a mild sedative effect, so to enrich your body with iodine, eat more seafood.

You should start your autumn morning with a hot breakfast: porridge from one or more types of cereal with dried fruits and green tea - they will perfectly charge you for the rest of the day. Instead of green tea, you can brew rosehip in the evening, and add a little honey to the drink for breakfast. Honey increases stamina and strengthens the nervous system.

The remaining meals should be properly distributed throughout the day. Be sure to have lunch and dinner on time, without moving lunch and dinner until late in the evening. Ideal eating schedule: breakfast at 7-9 am, lunch until 15-16 pm. A light dinner should be 3-4 hours before bedtime. After dinner, it is better to take a walk in the fresh air, and then you can feel great, and thus prepare your body for winter.

Remember, a proper diet will ensure your good health and mood.
