Champagne improves memory and brain activity

Professor Jeremy Spencer from the University of Reading claims that drinking champagne daily can help prevent brain disorders and Alzheimer's disease, and also improve memory.

Spencer has proven that the black grapes Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (from which champagne is made) contain a compound that supports memory in good condition: “Memory decline actually begins around the age of 40. The sooner a person discovers the positive the champagne effect, the better."

According to Spencer, regular consumption of champagne increases the concentration of proteins necessary for normal memory function by 200%. The scientist has already carried out his experiments on rats, which exceeded all possible indicators. This took him 6 weeks, and in his next phase Spencer hopes to test retirees, which will take him about three years.
