Indications:
nephrotic syndrome in chronic kidney disease and other diseases.

Purpose of diet No. 7B:
replenish proteins lost in urine, help normalize the metabolism of proteins, fats, cholesterol, and reduce swelling.

General characteristics of diet No. 7B:
a diet of physiologically normal caloric content with an increase in proteins, a moderate decrease in fats (at the expense of animals), and a normal carbohydrate content. Sharp limitation of sodium chloride, liquids, extractives, cholesterol, oxalic acid, limitation of sugar, increase in the amount of lipotropic substances. Culinary processing without mechanical sparing. Meat and fish are boiled. Food is prepared without salt. The food temperature is normal.
