Ruslana Pysanka: how to train your body to eat on a schedule

Ruslana Pysanka continues the process of losing weight as part of the Internet project “10 steps towards yourself.” The actress has passed halfway and has already learned how to eat breakfast, drink water and live properly. But, as it turned out, giving up mashed potatoes for breakfast and unhealthy sweet drinks is not the most difficult test for Ruslana. Diet is not an easy task for the creative nature of the TV presenter. How to train your body to eat on a schedule? And why is precise meal timing so important? Pysanka looked for answers to these and other questions in the 5th issue of her video blog and taught her body to work in a new way.

“Being a creative person, it is very difficult for me to force myself into the framework of precise regimes and plans. Basically, I think and act impulsively - this is my thing. So I lost weight spontaneously. All my attempts were more of an experiment in nature, rather than a planned action. Maintain the result it didn’t work,” Ruslana analyzes her mistakes.

Indeed, without a clear diet, effective weight loss is impossible. Why is it so important not only what we eat, but also the time when we eat? The fact is that thanks to the regime, our body gets used to a certain schedule and becomes obedient. Firstly, the regime affects the feeling of hunger: hunger will come at a clearly designated time for breakfast, lunch or dinner and will not overtake you at the most inopportune moment, for example, at night. Secondly, the body’s needs for food, and not just the desire to eat “something tasty,” transform previously not the most favorite food into something tasty and desirable. During lunch, you will happily eat a portion of buckwheat, boiled meat and a salad without mayonnaise, although this food did not seem tasty to you in the morning. Thirdly, without skipping meals, you will be able to control the amount of food you eat; having a hearty lunch and getting the required amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, you will not want to snack on something unnecessary and dangerous for your figure or eat a huge portion for dinner. Regular meals teach the body to work steadily, and not store food for future use in the form of fats in anticipation of the next dietary stress.

As a creative person, it was not at all easy for Pysanka to immediately switch to eating according to a schedule. And taking the 5th step towards a new self and life according to the regime, the actress turned to the alarm clock for help! Every 3-4 hours, the alarm clock on her mobile phone reminded Ruslana that it was time to eat. “And a week later my internal clock turned on, I began to hear my body,” the actress shares her success.

Diet is one of the most important factors in the process of losing weight: “After all, everything that you did not feed your body during the day, it will definitely want to eat, but closer to the night. Tested from my own experience,” says Ruslana Pysanka.
