Winter diet: what to eat and what to avoid

The winter diet should be slightly different from the summer one. During the cold season, our body receives much less sunlight, so it is necessary to replace light and heat with something. Many people become lethargic, irritable in winter, and their performance decreases. To boost your immunity and mood, you need to eat right.

Important principles of the winter diet:

  1. Adequate protein intake. They contain amino acids that strengthen the immune system. Eat at least 100 grams of protein per day.

  2. Consumption of fats. 25-30 g of fat per day will strengthen the immune system.

Fats: lard, butter, nuts, seeds.
